German Roach

Diet: German cockroaches will feed on almost any food source, including soap, glue and toothpaste.

Habitat: German cockroaches prefer to live in warm, humid places close to food and moisture sources. They are frequently found in residential and commercial kitchen environments, and bathrooms.

Threats: These cockroaches can reproduce rapidly, leading to severe infestations quickly. They are also known to spread bacteria to clean surfaces, can cause allergic reactions, and exacerbate asthma attacks.

Control: Similar to other roach species, keeping a house tidy, removing sources of stagnant water, and sealing cracks and crevices, especially at ground level, are preventive measures. In high-traffic areas of the home, be diligent with cleaning, particularly the kitchen and bathrooms.
